complete engines are harder to get hold of over here for a good price. I've not seen a complete running one available for a long while. I enjoy the "scrapyard" piecing together of bits I have around to make it work. A simple head swap on my current engine with a new cam is only a few hours work in reality. Having custom manifolds allows me to fit things neatly vs using the complete manifolds for the turbo, and then switching to a different fitment allows me a wider range of more modern turbochargers.Adey, what do you think of my remark?
Funny thing about that pump is that i got the same problème on my r8 with the SAME pump.
It s too hot in there.the plastic inpeller doesn t hold on the shaft.
i wen back to mecanical an i use it for priming pumpe only.
Also the pressure side nipple can fall out of the housing wen too hot.
même problème sur ma r8gordini.les palles de la pompe ce desolidarisent de l axe car trop chaud.
c est un mauvais produit et côté pression si c est trop chaud,le tube de sortie en pression tombe.
jetez ça aux poubelles.
